“Don’t play what’s there, play what’s not there.” –Miles Davis

I like to look at music and photography in a similar way. For me, photography is akin to a musical score. Just as a musical score can be interpreted various ways, the world can be interpreted in many ways via the camera lens. With photography, my goal is to engage the viewer with the passion of the moment. I want the viewer to experience the emotions of the very moment captured on camera and at the same time, show you “what’s not there.”
